Refund Policy
Anything broken, missing or not as described is always put right. A change of mind after the download has started is not refundable, and that is my decision to make.
v1.1 · effective 4 august 2026Contents — 7 sections
01The short version
All sales are final once your download has started. You ask for it to start at checkout, and you are told there that asking ends your 14-day right to change your mind. That is the trade: the file the second you have paid, instead of a fortnight later.
If something is broken, missing, or not what the page described, I fix it — or you get your money back. Always, with no time limit. That is your right by law, it cannot be signed away by anybody, and I would do it anyway.
Everything below is those two sentences, in more words.
02Changing your mind
Buying online normally gives you 14 days to change your mind. For a download, the law lets that right end the moment delivery begins — provided you asked for it to begin and were told what asking costs you.
That is exactly what the box above the install button does. It says, in those words, that you are asking for the download to start straight away and that once it does you no longer have 14 days to change your mind. Nothing is bundled into general conditions and nothing is assumed from a tick elsewhere: it is one sentence, on the last screen before payment, and the purchase cannot proceed without it.
So once the download has started, a change of mind is not refundable. Before it starts, it is — if you have paid and not yet downloaded, write to me and I will sort it out.
This page used to say the answer was Link’s. Stripe corrected me on 13 August 2026: where you write to me directly, the decision is mine — Link neither assesses nor rules on it. What I can tell you is what was agreed at checkout, and it is recorded against your order rather than claimed in general.
Link is still the seller of record, so the money passes through them and their own terms still apply to them. If you take it past me — to your bank as a payment dispute, or to a consumer authority — that is decided elsewhere, and I would rather you told me first.
None of this touches the next section, and none of that is discretionary.
03What I always refund
None of this is discretionary — it is what the law requires of anyone selling anything, and no wording on any page changes it.
- A file that is corrupt, incomplete, or will not open.
- Something missing from what the product page said was included.
- A product that does not do what the page said it does.
- A license key that will not activate and cannot be made to.
Email support@augustovnd.com with your order email and what went wrong. I will try to fix it first, because a working product is usually what you actually wanted. If I cannot, you get your money back.
04Things I sort out anyway
Not obligations, just how I would want to be treated:
- Bought the same thing twice. Tell me and I refund the duplicate.
- Bought the wrong one. I will swap it, or refund it.
- It will not run on your machine and we cannot get it working between us.
Ask. The worst case is I say no, and I would rather have the conversation than have you feel stuck with something.
05How to be sure before you buy
The best refund is the one nobody needs.
- TypeKit Lite is free and runs the same engine as TypeKit. Try it first.
- Every product page lists what it needs — which application, and which version.
- The FilmPack page shows all nine looks on real photographs, with the untouched original beside each.
- The TypeKit page has a live Inspector you can play with before paying.
Still unsure? Email me and describe what you are trying to do. I will tell you honestly if it is not the right tool, including if the right answer is that you do not need to buy anything.
06Practical details
Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually appear within five to ten working days, depending on your bank. Link is the seller of record, so the refund comes from Link and Link’s handling applies.
When a purchase is refunded, the license key stops activating new machines and the download link closes. A machine already activated keeps working, because the plugin never contacts the internet again after activation — but the license to use it ends with the refund.
These terms sit alongside the full Terms of Service.
07Withdrawing, and the form
EU consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal: fourteen days from the day the contract is made, no reason required. For digital content it lapses once delivery has begun with your express agreement — which is what the box at checkout is, and why it is written in full there rather than buried in these pages.
So in the ordinary case — you bought, you ticked, the download started — the right has lapsed and there is nothing here to use. It has not lapsed if you have not downloaded yet, and it never applied to the guarantees in section 03, which have no deadline at all.
Where it has not lapsed, here is how to use it. Send it to support@augustovnd.com — a withdrawal sent to me is one I answer, and I will confirm I have it. Link support handles anything about the payment itself. Any unambiguous statement counts — an email saying you are withdrawing is enough, and you do not have to explain yourself.
If you would rather use a form, this is the model one. Copy it, fill it in, send it. Spanish is equally fine.
Model withdrawal form
To augustovnd, support@augustovnd.com, and to Sold through Link, LLC as seller of record:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following digital content:
— Product:
— Ordered on:
— Order or receipt reference:
— Name:
— Email used for the purchase:
— Date:
None of this affects the part that is mine rather than Link’s: a file that is faulty, missing or not what the page described gets fixed or refunded, and that right does not run out in fourteen days.
One request, and it is a request rather than a rule: before a chargeback, write to me. A bank dispute takes weeks and costs us both a fee, and every guarantee in section 03 is faster than one and needs no arguing.
Not sure something is right for you?
Ask before you buy. I would rather answer an email than take money for the wrong thing.
